Women in Federal Law Enforcement, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in June 1999 as a 501(c) (6) tax-exempt professional association whose primary mission is to strengthen federal law enforcement operations by working to achieve gender equity and inclusion at all levels. WIFLE Foundation, Inc. was established in 2006 as a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt charitable/education organization and operates the Annual Leadership Training, the Scholarship Program, the Awards Program, and the Julie Y. Cross Memorial Golf Tournament^®. Together, these two organizations are jointly known as WIFLE.

WIFLE is dedicated to making a difference in our beloved profession and in the community.  WIFLE’s overarching goal is to strengthen federal law enforcement operations through the achievement of gender equity and inclusiveness at all levels. WIFLE advocates for gender equity in federal law enforcement through training, professional development, leadership advancement, collaborative partnerships, scholarship opportunities, mentoring programs, relevant and credible research, strategic communications, professional relations, and community engagement.

This year will truly be a monumental milestone for our organization as Women in Federal Law Enforcement, Inc. will be celebrating its 25^th Anniversary in June 2024.  Our Annual Leadership Training will be held in Alexandria, Virginia, on August 5 – 8, 2024, and our theme is “Looking Back and Inspiring the Future.” WIFLE will honor scores of female trailblazers who have made an indelible mark on the law enforcement profession and celebrate the future of women who are continuing to pave the way for the profession.
