How to Defend Yourself in a Security Clearance Adjudication

This presentation will teach federal law enforcement officers how to defend themselves against security clearance adjudications. The presenter will explain the due process rights afforded to employees as well as how to persuasively use and apply the “whole person” concept per Executive Order 12968 to show that the national security interests of the United States are not at risk by allowing employees to maintain their clearances. In addition, the presenter will share federal employees appeal rights during the adjudicative process and the interplay with how to successfully pursue allegations of discrimination in connection with security clearance issues.

The WIFLE Foundation, Inc.'s Annual Leadership Training enhances law enforcement knowledge in critical and timely topics by skilled presenters in various law enforcement fields from a variety of Federal, State and local agencies. Highly acclaimed, WIFLE is a leader in professional training for women advancing their law enforcement career.
