  • Payment is made at the time of registration. WIFLE accepts credit and debit cards, Agency purchase cards and signed, approved Agency Purchase Orders, checks, wire transfer, money orders, Western Union. An SF-182 is not an Agency Purchase Order. Contact WIFLE with questions.
  • All attendees must complete the WIFLE online registration and payment process to gain access to the training.
  • If you present yourself at the WIFLE check-in desk without having completed the WIFLE registration and payment process or your Agency's training and travel processes, WIFLE has no authority to authorize your attendance or grant you access to sessions. Your Agency is the only approval authority for your training. PLEASE ensure all of your Agency requirements are followed before before presenting yourself for check-in.
  • There are no on-site registrations. All attendees must be registered and paid in advance through this website.

  • The Training Opening Ceremony is Tuesday July 16. Look for details in your program book.
  • If your agency will authorize travel and per diem on Sunday, July 14, placing you onsite on Monday, July 15, please look at the Optional Monday sessions and the tour we offer. No fee for these when registered for the full week of training.

Registration and payment is online through one of the links below. Early reduced training registration fee valid through May 24, 2019.  Click the link to register.  Your week's registration also includes one ticket to Monday's Welcome Reception and one ticket for Wednesday's Award Luncheon.  Please Note: The online registration form will ask you to set a login (your email) and a password.  These will be needed by your card holder when they log into your account to make payment for your registration. Meal Information: Continental breakfast and lunch is provided Tuesday - Thursday. If registered for a day, the meals are included for that day.

The levels of registration are-

  • Single registration for an individual registering for the complete event (Includes optional Monday and Award Luncheon)
    $525 through May 24, 2019 |  $575 through July 5, 2019  
  • Group registration for 6 or more when paid with one single credit card transaction or one single Purchase Order authorization covering all individuals in the group. (Includes optional Monday and Award Luncheon). Register one person as the 'primary' for the group; add the additional names and email addresses to the registration to finalize the group.
    $500 through May 24, 2019  |  $550 through July 5, 2019
  • State or Local Police Registration for Police Officers such as Maryland Troopers, Virginia State Police and District of Columbia Police and similar law enforcement officers full-event (Includes optional Monday and Award Lunch). This category is not for federal law enforcement employees.

  • One-Day registration for a single day, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. 
    $195 through July 5, 2019
  • Exhibitor and Exhibitor-Nonprofits are provided 2 booth tickets to the WIFLE Leadership Training. WIFLE booth attendant registration includes all meetings and sessions, access to the exhibit hall, continental breakfast (Tuesday - Thursday), lunch (Tuesday - Wednesday), ticket to the Welcome Reception (Monday), and ticket to the Awards Banquet Lunch (Wednesday). If additional booth attendants are needed, purchase a full week or one-day training registration package.

  • Optional Monday Training July 15-Crimes Against Children.  If registered and paid for the training Tuesday - Friday, on Monday, July 15, you are offered an opportunity to attend a special class given by the FBI.  Breaks and lunch are provided and the class is all-day, 8 hours.  The limit on space is 50 attendees.  Class material to download and print is available through the links in the confirmation email. "Behavioral Considerations for Interviewing Crimes Against Children Offenders" taught by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Behavioral Analysis Unit, Critical Incident Response Group. Pre-registration is required. Limited to 40 participants.

  • Optional Monday Training July 15-National Holocaust Museum. In partnership with the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Anti Defamation League (ADL) developed this innovative training to examine what can happen when law enforcement personnel do not uphold democratic principles. 9:30am - 5:00pm Pre-registration is required. Limited to 45 participants. 

  • Optional Monday Activity July 15-Tour National Museum of African American History and Culture.  The National Museum of African American History and Culture is a Smithsonian Institution museum established in December 2003. The museum and its 35,000 treasured artifacts are telling a new story about America. Tour with WIFLE. 2:00pm - 4:00pm Pre-registration is required. Limited to 30 participants.
  • Optional Monday Training July 15-The Cognitive Interview.  In partnership with the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations, you will learn about  questioning technique to enhance retrieval of information about a crime scene from the eyewitnesses and victim's memories. Dr. Lambrecht, Air Force Office of Special Investigation will lead you through the principals and practice of cognitive interviewing. 1:00pm - 5:00pm Pre-registration is required. Limited to 30 participants.
  • Award Recipient, your agency pays for training registration if attending training; Award includes banquet ticket for recipient and one guest (purchase additional tickets separately), the VIP reception immediately preceding the banquet, is open to all agency heads, award winners and their families

  • Award Luncheon Tickets  Included with full week training. Purchase additional Luncheon tickets @$50 adult, $25 child (under 9)
  • Speakers (Award Luncheon ticket not included. Purchase separately.)
  • Board and Volunteers (Award Luncheon ticket not included. Purchase on registration form.)
  • Golfers, can rent clubs on site, all skill levels welcome
  • Golf sponsors, hole-in-one, closest-to-the-hole, beverage cart, $200, $400, and more donation of money (Call Margie Moore, Golf Chair, to discuss at 301-805-2180)

Registration will close on July 5, 2019. You may substitute one individual for another up through July 5, 2019. 
A $75 refund processing fee is assessed for a cancellation up through June 28 , 2019. After June 28, no refunds are provided. However, you will have through July 5 to substitute another individual.  A refund processing fee of $125 is applied to a booth cancellation at anytime. Registration will close July 1, 2019. No onsite registration offered; online, in advance registration is required.

We received reports that Agency in-house software prevented a card payment from finalizing.  Talk with your Agency on a work-around or ask what device to use to register, possibly your cell phone, laptop or a tablet can be used instead.  If your screen seems to 'freeze' when completing the payment details, your agency software is likely blocking the transactions.  Registrations accepted through July 5, 2019, close of business (5:00pm EST).
