The WELI (WIFLE Executive Leadership Institute) events attract women and men in law enforcement at the higher levels of supervisory and management responsibilities. One of the most popular sessions for leadership and supervisory positions offered during the Leadership Training. Non-Government, high-powered speaker leading  the group in challenging, thought-provoking session geared to broaden your mind to think out-of-the box for managerial solutions.  Held one afternoon during the week's training for GS-13's and above.

Seats are limited to only 40. Separate registration required. Register now.

The Executive Leadership Institute for higher levels is specifically for those in law enforcement at GS-13 and above levels of supervisory and management responsibilities. Skills to be successful at these levels are different than those needed at lower levels. For example, at the higher levels of responsibility, your mission view must be much broader and encompass solutions that may have longer or agency-wide impacts. While thinking 'out-of-the-box' is a must, basic leadership thinking may be even more critical for long-term success. Managers at the higher levels face challenges which may result in dramatic career changing paths; may be subject to scrutiny and questions not appearing at a lower employee level; or, may not be fully recognized or heard when it comes to voicing opinions or contributing to the workplace goals. Furthermore, those who work along side women, their mentors, and male peers, may not be aware of the wider range of environmental factors which influence and affect women in the law enforcement fields. The Seminars address these issues in immersive, succinct, deliberately-paced sessions for senior level officials.

The WIFLE Foundation, Inc.'s Annual Training enhances law enforcement knowledge in critical and timely topics by presenting a variety of law enforcement speakers from Federal, State and local agencies, and content experts across the United States. Highly acclaimed, WIFLE is a leader in professional training for women advancing their law enforcement career.
